Job Summary

Forecasting and Budgeting

• Forecast sales by SKU, brand, channel, account, region, and state, including gross realization, GTN, pricing, elasticity, cost, and gross margin assumptions.
• Forecast budgets for P&L lines, departments, and expense types with business justification.
• Analyze sales and P&L profiles against previous benchmarks.
• Prepare scenario analysis, brand profitability, channel profitability, regional P&L, pricing, discount, incentive, and SG&A analyses.

Accounting and Balance Sheet

• Maintain monthly accounting accuracy for standard cost, TCGM, provisions, and book close.
• Prepare balance sheet forecasts and actual-versus-forecast analysis and follow up on claims, outstanding items, and open amounts.
• Prepare balance sheet review and deep-dive submissions.
• Review vendor advances, open purchase orders, accruals, and commitments.
• Manage standard-cost changes and year-end standard-cost roll-up for the following year.

Reporting and Performance

• Improve functional reporting by simplifying processes and leveraging existing systems.
• Prepare the monthly business health dashboard with finance inputs.
• Monitor policy compliance, accruals, capital expenditure, depreciation planning, and tax-related P&L matters.
• Monitor standard cost, gross margin, freight and distribution, and SG&A budgets against actuals.
• Analyze revenue, profit, overhead, utilization, pipeline, headcount, and other KPIs and investigate variances.
• Generate management analysis reports and support internal and statutory audits.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation is required.
• Chartered Accountant qualification is required.
• 8-12 years of experience in financial planning and analysis is required.

• The position is located at the BKC Building in Mumbai, India.
• The work shift is standard.
• Travel is listed as 20 percent of the time.
