Senior Manager - Engineering Excellence

The successful candidate will be a hands-on engineering leader and capability builder who can operate across strategy and execution.

They should be comfortable working with engineering teams at a technical level while also partnering with senior leaders to drive organizational change, establish standards and demonstrate measurable improvements.

The role requires someone who can influence without relying solely on organizational authority, build credibility with engineering teams and progressively raise engineering maturity across the organization.

Success in this role will be demonstrated through measurable improvements such as:

Increased adoption and coverage of automated testing.

Reduced regression and release-validation effort.

Improved integration of automated quality gates within CI/CD.

Reduction in escaped defects and repeat quality issues.

Improved engineering productivity and delivery effectiveness.

Adoption of common engineering standards and reusable capabilities.

Establishment of meaningful engineering metrics and maturity measures.

Increased adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices.

Demonstrable improvement in engineering maturity across participating teams.
