Role Purpose
The role supports simplification, consolidation, and modernization of Commercial Banking data to enable high-quality data products.
The position collaborates with Commercial Banking, Global Banking & Markets, GTB, Finance, Wealth Management, Retail Small Business, and other groups.
Accountabilities
- Lead the Data Product and Operations team through complex data analysis, problem solving, and project execution.
- Analyze, reconcile, and cleanse complex datasets from client onboarding, trade, credit, and other systems.
- Oversee analysis, reporting, operational tracking, productivity metrics, and quality trends.
- Define the Commercial Banking data product strategy and roadmap.
- Conduct discovery with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical mappings.
- Manage data governance and data product discoverability in the enterprise catalog.
- Oversee data products through their full lifecycle from ideation to deprecation.
- Track adoption, business impact, ROI, and other data product KPIs.
- Prepare periodic and ad hoc reporting and support regulatory exception resolution.
- Lead data reconciliation initiatives and conduct stakeholder meetings and working groups.
- Maintain effective business controls for operational, compliance, AML/ATF, sanctions, and conduct risk.
