Role overview
Oversee data center operations across multiple sites, integrating team performance, operational metrics, and capacity analysis into business strategy.
Lead multiple teams supporting technical issues, crisis management, root cause analysis, process standardization, installations, maintenance, and expansion activities.
Operations and issue management
- Direct support for escalated complex technical issues across multiple teams.
- Implement issue triage, automation, scheduling, and monitoring strategies to prevent and resolve problems.
- Standardize issues, processes, and solutions and maintain an accurate data center knowledge base.
- Guide incident and crisis management protocols and lead root cause analysis after incidents.
Expansion and infrastructure
- Oversee new region builds and expansion activities, both onsite and remotely.
- Coordinate project timelines and capacity requirements with project teams and data center engineering.
- Direct rack deployments, installations, network infrastructure upgrades, repairs, inventory, and logistics.
- Implement maintenance strategies for containment, airflow, pressure, and power systems.
