Role Overview
Partner with the Sales team and Chairman’s Office to review, analyze, and recommend pricing proposals and discounts for off-plan sales and underwriting deals.
Assess commercial rationale, project economics, pricing strategy, margins, and risks to support profitable, strategically aligned transactions.
Commercial and Profitability
- Review discount proposals for all off-plan units and model whether discounts support sales and organizational profitability.
- Recommend the rationale and repercussions of discount deals to the Chairman’s Office and provide direction-based approvals to Sales.
- Develop detailed models and recommendations for underwriting deals.
- Ensure approved deals and discounts are executed within agreed commercial parameters.
- Track underwriting deals through closure and flag delays, deviations, or risks to management.
Governance and Process
- Develop templates, processes, policies, and reporting dashboards covering underwriting, discounts, approvals, closures, and key commercial metrics.
- Ensure appropriate governance and consistency in evaluating and approving non-standard transactions.
- Automate reporting and use data to identify trends, exceptions, and opportunities to improve commercial decisions.
Stakeholder Management
- Engage key stakeholders and ensure timely turnaround of recommendations and approvals in line with agreed service-level agreements.
- Act as the key interface between Sales, Finance, the Chairman’s Office, and other relevant internal stakeholders on commercial deal reviews.
- Engage customers or external stakeholders when required to support closure of approved transactions while protecting BNW’s commercial interests.
Role Requirements
- Ability to analyze pricing proposals, discounts, underwriting deals, project economics, margins, and associated risks.
- Strong financial modelling capability for off-plan discount and underwriting evaluations.
- Ability to provide data-driven recommendations aligned with profitability objectives and commercial strategy.
- Ability to design governance, approval, reporting, and process frameworks for non-standard transactions.
- Ability to coordinate recommendations and approvals across Sales, Finance, executive stakeholders, and external parties.
