Role overview
Lead a team that builds and deploys enterprise Generative AI and agentic solutions.
Own stakeholder relationships and solve ambiguous, enterprise-scale AI problems.
Partner with business and technology leaders to deliver enterprise AI capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop AI engineers while setting standards, priorities, delivery expectations, and growth practices.
- Own the AI engineering strategy and roadmap across more than one business unit and function.
- Translate business requirements into system architecture, solution flows, and configuration specifications.
- Recommend architecture patterns, reusable components, and model-selection strategies across GenAI.
- Balance cost, latency, accuracy, reliability, security, and privacy in solution decisions.
- Drive evaluation, error analysis, and Responsible AI practices.
- Identify architecture gaps, risks, and dependencies and propose mitigation strategies.
- Represent AI engineering to Directors and VPs and make architecture, model-selection, and delivery decisions.
Recipe for success
- Master’s degree in a relevant field, or a bachelor’s degree with equivalent professional experience.
- Relevant experience in AI/ML, software or solution architecture, or technical leadership, including leading or mentoring engineers.
