We are seeking a highly skilled **Senior Management Accountant** to join our growing team and help drive strategic financial management.
Job Overview
The Senior Management Accountant will play a critical role in providing accurate, timely, and insightful financial information to support decision-making and business growth.
This role requires a detail-oriented, strategic thinker with a strong accounting background and excellent analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, including detailed financial analysis and commentary.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, trends, and variances to support business decisions.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Support operational managers with financial insights to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
- Oversee cost analysis, inventory management, and pricing strategies.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff.
Requirements
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in management accounting, preferably in retail, hospitality, or salon/beauty industries.
- Strong financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or similar) and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present financial information clearly.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
