Provide effective day-to-day leadership and supervision of the maintenance team, ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of production equipment while delivering performance against Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, and Environmental (SQDCPE) objectives.
Lead and coordinate maintenance activities, including reactive repairs, condition-based monitoring, and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programmes, to maximise equipment availability and operational performance.
Drive waste reduction and cost-efficiency initiatives across maintenance operations, promoting continuous improvement and the optimisation of resources, materials, and processes.
Ensure robust shift-to-shift communication processes are in place through the accurate collection, analysis, and dissemination of operational and maintenance performance data.
Support the deployment and standardisation of the site's maintenance strategy, ensuring alignment with plant objectives, reliability goals, and best practice maintenance principles.
Lead the development, implementation, and review of training and competency plans for maintenance personnel, ensuring the effective delivery of technical, safety, compliance, and process-related training programmes.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance maintenance methodologies, equipment reliability, and operational performance through structured problem solving and root cause analysis.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Previous experience in a similar role including experience of supervising maintenance operational teams to meet production targets in Manufacturing
Technical (mechanical and electrical) automotive engineering skills, ideally in a large automated environment
