The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will digitize real-world infrastructure from LiDAR, imagery, and vector data sources.
The role covers the machine learning lifecycle from data collection and quality assurance through training and model monitoring.
Contribution areas
- Develop approaches to generate accurate electric networks from imperfect data using deep learning and classical machine learning.
- Develop and optimize training pipelines to reduce toil and shorten idea-to-evaluation time.
- Scale model serving for varied problems and reduce the time from initial model to production.
- Improve model QA speed and identify data and distribution drift.
- Work with LiDAR, aerial photography, photogrammetry, GIS, and other data sources.
- Build scalable data pipelines supporting model training and serving.
- Define which problems should be solved with machine learning and establish strategies for those problems.
- Apply current data-handling, MLOps, and machine learning practices to the platform.
- Mentor engineers in model training and software engineering best practices.
