The Opportunity
Fullscript is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for its AI and Analytics Engineering team.
The team builds AI-powered lab interpretation, clinician decision support, and conversational experiences within the Fullscript product.
The role is a senior individual contributor position focused on production AI systems and practitioner workflows.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and deploy LLM-powered product features such as lab summaries, clinical workflow tools, and conversational agents.
- Build Python backend services integrating LLMs and machine learning models into the platform.
- Develop systems for clinical questions, follow-up interactions, and reasoning over structured and unstructured healthcare context.
- Implement prompting, grounding, retrieval, and safety strategies for reliable and clinically relevant outputs.
- Build evaluation, testing, monitoring, and CI/CD workflows covering accuracy, hallucinations, edge cases, and reliability.
