The employer is seeking a Senior Logistics Officer with strong operational expertise in import/export documentation, freight negotiation, and end-to-end logistics coordination.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
- Minimum five years of logistics experience covering land, sea, and air transportation.
- CILT or CTLP certification is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills with shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters, and 3PLs.
- Solid experience in import/export documentation and compliance.
Core Competencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Assertive, service-oriented, and results-driven approach.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations.
- Ability to maintain strong relationships with logistics partners.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
Workplace
- The role is full-time and requires in-person work.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end logistics operations across land, sea, and air transportation.
- Manage import/export documentation and related compliance activities.
- Negotiate freight arrangements with shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters, and 3PLs.
- Coordinate with logistics partners and maintain strong working relationships.
- Support warehouse operations as part of logistics activities.
