About the Role

- Conduct comprehensive legal research using primary and secondary sources, including case law, statutes, regulations, and legal treatises
- Analyze complex legal issues and provide written summaries, memos, and recommendations
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including engineers, product managers, and legal professionals
- Assess legal implications of emerging technologies, algorithms, and data processing practices
- Maintain up to date knowledge of legal developments in AI governance, data privacy, intellectual property, and sector specific regulations
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal qualification from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 3 years of post qualification experience in legal research, preferably within technology, AI, or a high growth commercial sector
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret and synthesize complex legal documents and technical materials
- Experience conducting research on AI related legal issues
- Proficiency in legal research databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis, Bloomberg Law)
