Role overview
The employer is seeking a commercially driven Senior Leasing Executive in Qatar.
The role focuses on retail leasing across fashion retail and F&B, including sourcing brands, developing opportunities, negotiating terms, and closing deals.
Key responsibilities
- Generate and manage leasing leads and prospect pipelines.
- Approach local, regional, and international retail brands.
- Negotiate commercial terms and support deal closure.
- Prepare leasing proposals, offers, and presentations.
- Coordinate with tenants from initial approach through signing and handover.
- Maintain leasing reports, pipeline updates, tenant mix plans, and waiting lists.
- Conduct market research and identify new retail concepts, brands, and leasing opportunities.
- Support occupancy, revenue, and tenant-mix targets.
- Support tenant collections with Finance, including outstanding payments, deposits, and service charges.
- Review tenant mix and maintain a waiting list of prospective tenants and alternative brands.
- Use AI-enabled tools for research, sourcing, analysis, reporting, presentations, prospecting, and productivity.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in retail leasing, shopping malls, or commercial real estate.
- Strong knowledge of the Qatar and GCC retail market.
- Proven negotiation, business development, and deal-closing capabilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and pursue new business opportunities.
- Existing relationships with retailers, brands, franchise groups, and F&B operators are advantageous.
- Understanding of lease commercial terms, tenant financial obligations, and leasing documentation.
- Working knowledge of AI and digital tools for leasing and business development.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is advantageous.
