Senior Lead Software Engineer - AI/ML Developer

Role overview

Job responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ML platforms and infrastructure for end-to-end workflows.
• Develop tools for model training, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Integrate data engineering, feature management, and model serving capabilities.
• Implement secure production code for platform services, APIs, and automation pipelines.
• Lead evaluation sessions with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams.
• Improve platform reliability, scalability, and performance through monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Produce architecture artifacts and automate infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive authorized AI-assisted engineering practices with consistent validation standards.

Required qualifications

• Formal software engineering training or certification and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience building, deploying, and maintaining ML platforms or infrastructure.
• Advanced Python and one or more ML frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Experience with data processing tools, cloud ML platforms or on-premises ML infrastructure, and MLOps.
• Experience developing APIs and platform services and proficiency across the SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on business-aligned platform solutions.

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, Snorkel AI, containerization, orchestration, feature stores, model registries, or ML metadata management.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, RESTful APIs, and microservices architectures.

Compensation

• Base salary is $175,750-$260,000 per year.
• Eligible roles may also receive commission-based pay or discretionary incentive compensation and benefits.
