POSITION: Senior Lead – Releasing - Seasonal LOCATION: Shafter, CA DEPARTMENT: Senior Lead - Releasing SALARY GRADE: 7 - Compensation starts at $18.59/hr and may increase based on tenure, and or merit REPORTS TO: Releasing Supervisors
Job Description: Why you and why us?
You will be part of the Shafter Releasing team, responsible for supporting the team and leadership with releasing issues and service levels.
Your job is to ensure that the team is meeting service levels, providing ownership and resolution of releasing issues, and providing outstanding service for both internal and external customers.
As a Senior Lead for Shafter Releasing, you will be a coach and mentor, assisting leadership in guiding associates to successful ownership and resolution for the customer, hub and retail stores releasing concerns.
You will support the daily monitoring of teamwork volume, assignments, management of issues, and overall service levels.

Essential Functions: The nuts and bolts
- Develop a People First culture that allows associates to grow and succeed
- Highly organized and detailed-oriented; ability to be flexible and handle simultaneous moving parts with a sense of urgency
- Be a visible and accessible resource for Releasing Associates including answering product-related questions, clarifying SOPs, and providing guidance as needed
- Ability to embrace change with a great attitude and be comfortable with ambiguity
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Ability to build and maintain internal/external partnerships
- You take ownership during challenges
- Lead through example by performing department tasks safely, correctly, and quickly; demonstrating integrity and acting in a responsible and accountable manner
- Monitor potential performance and coaching opportunities
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with associates, peers, and managers within the organization
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications: What you need to apply
• Shafter Residents Only
- 3+ months demonstrated success as a releasing team member
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively as a team with other associates, supervisors and managers
- 2-4 years prior customer service or related experience
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability, quickly adjusts to changing work environment
- Advanced independent decision-making skills and effective problem solving skills
- Ability to anticipate potential issues before they occur
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and the ability to foster open communication between associates
- Attention to detail, ability to prioritize responsibilities, and work well independently
- Computer literate with the ability to type 35 wpm
- 2+ years Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
Important Facts
- This is a Seasonal, Full-Time, non-exempt level position requiring a 40-hour schedule
- Including Evenings and Weekends – Schedule TBD
