Role Overview
Lead high-impact systems engineering projects involving Marine VCS, DP, power systems, drive controls, and advanced applications.
Provide technical leadership for the India region and partner with global product lines on planning and execution.
Focus on technical quality, capability development, risk management, and complex project delivery.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate technical aspects of large projects with complex architectures and significant business impact.
- Design and implement optimized control architectures that meet product and project requirements.
- Review systems solutions, understand technical risks, and identify mitigation contingencies.
- Provide Marine domain consulting to engineers and customers.
- Support technology road maps and provide domain process direction to Engineering teams.
- Review proposal and bid deliverables and analyze technical proposals and risks.
- Support customer presentations, review customer requirements, and identify gaps against business capabilities.
- Work with project management to improve project margins and with Purchasing to verify supplier specifications.
- Validate engineering deliverables and support hiring, skills-gap closure, and talent development.
- Resolve customer issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
