The Senior Web Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining complex, scalable, and high‐performance web applications. This role combines hands‐on development with technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural decision-making. The Senior Web Developer collaborates closely with cross-functional teams—engineering, UX, product management, DevOps—to deliver reliable, secure, and user‐friendly solutions that align with business goals and modern web standards.
Key Responsibilities • Architect, develop, and maintain modern web applications and services • Lead technical design discussions and establish coding standards and best practices • Collaborate with designers and product owners to translate requirements into technical solutions • Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and security issues • Write clean, maintainable, well‐tested code with attention to long-term quality • Review pull requests and mentor junior developers to strengthen team capabilities • Research and evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools • Optimize CI/CD pipelines and development workflows • Ensure web applications meet accessibility, compliance, and security guidelines • Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and cross-team coordination
What You Will Learn
Qualifications You Must Have *
• Expertise in modern front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue) • Proficiency in back-end development with one or more frameworks (e.g., Node.js,.NET, Python/Django, Java/Spring) • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, microservices, and distributed architectures • Deep knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and browser rendering behavior • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) • Strong command of version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows • Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) • Experience with automated testing frameworks (unit, integration, end-to-end) • Solid understanding of application security principles (OWASP, authentication/authorization patterns) • Excellent problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and leadership qualities
Preferred Qualifications • Experience with performance profiling and optimization at scale • Background in accessibility compliance (WCAG) • Familiarity with serverless architectures • Contributions to open-source projects or technical communities • Experience mentoring or leading small development teams
