Role Overview
Lead the design and delivery of landscape architecture projects in Abu Dhabi, including commercial developments and master-planned communities.
Combine creative vision and technical expertise to create outdoor environments suited to regional climate and cultural context.
Mentor junior team members and influence design direction on high-profile projects.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead landscape architecture projects from initial concept through construction administration.
- Develop innovative and sustainable solutions responsive to site conditions, client objectives, and regional requirements.
- Prepare master plans, detailed drawings, specifications, and 3D visualizations.
- Manage and mentor landscape design teams.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, urban planners, and other stakeholders.
- Present concepts and project updates to clients and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Oversee implementation and quality control during construction.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainable design practices.
- Prepare proposals and participate in client presentations for business development.
Qualifications
- At least 8 years of professional landscape architecture experience.
- At least 3 years in a senior or leadership capacity.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Working toward professional membership in Urban Design or Architecture, such as RIBA or an equivalent.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

- The stated work location model is hybrid.
- New employees must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location.
