Job Overview
Cracknell is seeking a talented, creative, dynamic and experienced Senior Landscape Architect with strong concept design skills.
The role is based in the Abu Dhabi Studio and involves working with a multidisciplinary project team under the guidance of senior staff.
Primary Activities
- Manage multiple small to medium-sized landscape design projects from concept to construction, coordinating all project stages and aspects.
- Organize day-to-day design, production and documentation work and coordinate contract administration.
- Ensure deliverables meet the technical and contractual terms of project contracts.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders and consultants, prepare reports and presentations, and attend meetings.
- Ensure QA/QC procedures are followed and required approvals are obtained during design development and documentation production.
- Assist with post-tender contract administration by coordinating with contractors and client representatives.
Technical Competencies
- Manage landscape design projects of varying complexity, size and value.
- Lead project architects and designers in creating functional, sustainable and manageable landscapes.
- Review work performed by other engineers and disciplines.
- Read, write and interpret technical drawings, documentation, specifications, reports, proposals, contracts and tender documents.
- Use AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office proficiently.
- Knowledge of SketchUp, Lumion, Revit and Rhino is an added advantage.

- Demonstrate accuracy, precision and an excellent eye for detail.
- Work under pressure, multitask, manage priorities and meet timelines.
- Share information and remain willing to learn and be trained in new skills.
- Work independently and effectively as part of a collaborative team.

Position Requirements
- University degree, postgraduate qualification or equivalent in landscape architecture or architecture.
- CMLI or equivalent is preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience on sizeable landscape design projects.
- High proficiency in spoken and written English.
