Role Overview
Senior backend software development role supporting a banking client in Dubai.
The role focuses on Java, Spring Boot, microservices, distributed systems, and fintech application delivery.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of backend software development experience.
- Strong Java and Spring Boot expertise.
- Experience with microservices architectures and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of REST API design, OpenAPI/Swagger, OAuth2, and JWT.
- Experience leading large-scale projects and cross-functional technical efforts.
- Understanding of fintech security, compliance, and data integrity requirements.
- Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and monitoring tools.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop backend software using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and deliver microservices architectures and distributed systems.
- Design REST APIs and document them using OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Apply OAuth2 and JWT approaches to API security.
- Lead large-scale projects and cross-functional technical efforts.
- Address security, compliance, and data integrity requirements for fintech applications.
- Work with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and monitoring tools.
