Role Overview
Work remotely on a contract basis for a client seeking a Java Developer.
Develop and maintain Java-based applications supporting business operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable software solutions.
Compensation
- The stated payout is $30 to $90 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize Java applications using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code according to best practices.
- Debug and resolve technical issues in existing Java applications.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Document technical specifications and ensure compliance with coding standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in Java 8 or Java 11 with hands-on experience in Spring Boot.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and working with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
