Senior Java Developer

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of software development experience
• Strong experience with Java 17+ development
• Experience with Spring Framework and/or Spring Boot
• Experience developing REST APIs and web services
• Strong experience with microservices, JPA/Hibernate, Maven, and Swagger/OpenAPI
• Experience working with Oracle or other relational databases
• Experience using Git-based source control
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Strong verbal communication skills

• Experience with WebLogic application server administration or deployment
• Experience with Struts, JSP, EJB, JMS, or other enterprise Java technologies
• Experience with IBM ILOG JRules / Operational Decision Manager (ODM)
• Experience with microservices transaction orchestration
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Experience with React, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Experience supporting federal government or VA programs
• Experience with Jira and Confluence

Standard Business hours are Monday through Friday (list any particular schedule).

Occasional extended or weekend hours may be required based on operational needs.

Must have reliable internet service that allows for effective telecommuting

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000 annually, depending on geographic work location, relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, security clearance, and contract requirements.

Geographic salary ranges are determined in accordance with the company's compensation practices and represent a good-faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting.
