• Experience with low-latency, highly performant, optimized runtimes.
• Experience with agile development practices and the full software development lifecycle.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and lead and mentor others.

• Build and maintain a new technology solution supporting Royal London's investment product offering.
• Deliver digital solutions for customers and business users.
• Contribute to the development of a new state-of-the-art investments platform over several years.
• Help establish engineering capability in the Alderley Park office.
• Develop and maintain enterprise Java applications and Spring-based services.
• Design and deliver REST APIs, microservices, and event-streaming solutions.
