Role Overview
Provide high-touch desktop and end-user computing support for Windows and Linux environments.
Serve employees from entry-level associates through C-suite executives with a white-glove service mindset.
The role combines desktop support, systems administration, technical escalation, cybersecurity collaboration, and continuous service improvement.
Technical Support and Escalation
- Serve as the first point of technical escalation for complex desktop, hardware, software, and application issues.
- Provide proactive issue finding, hands-on troubleshooting, and resolution for end-user technology issues.
- Manage support tickets from initial logging through final resolution while meeting SLAs and KPIs.
- Maintain standard operating procedures, knowledge bases, and user documentation.
- Conduct user training sessions and resolve printer, network connectivity, peripheral, and audiovisual equipment issues.
Strategic and Operational Management
- Own IT equipment planning, procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.
- Support desktop technology planning, vendor evaluation, hardware refreshes, operating system migrations, and software rollouts.
