TriOptus is seeking a Senior IT Health Monitoring Analyst for a contract role in Ottawa, ON. The role requires extensive experience with enterprise monitoring software like Splunk, CA UIM, and SolarWinds, as well as scripting and system administration skills.

Responsibilities
- Configure, patch, add new managed nodes, generate and deploy monitors for enterprise monitoring software
- Work with various monitoring types such as URL response, AD response, Windows cluster, directory scan, DNS response, Exchange, CPU/DISK/Memory, MS SQL, NetApp, VMware, NT services
- Administer enterprise monitoring products including Splunk, CA UIM, CA Spectrum, SolarWinds, QRadar
- Perform scripting or programming with Perl, VB, Python, Java, or Unix Shell languages
- Manage Windows Server and Linux operating systems including installing packages, generating scripts, and reviewing log files
- Customize enterprise monitoring technologies in secure environments (air gapped networks, crossing network boundaries)
- Integrate disparate monitoring products and integrate with ticketing software
- Document and migrate monitoring solutions to new host virtual machines for UIM or equivalent solutions
Requirements
- University undergraduate degree or diploma or ten years of progressive experience in IT
- Minimum ten years experience working with Enterprise Monitoring software for server and application level monitoring
- Minimum ten years experience with various monitoring types (URL response, AD response, Windows cluster, etc.)
- Minimum ten years experience with Enterprise Monitoring software administration including Splunk, CA UIM, CA Spectrum, SolarWinds, QRadar
- Minimum ten years experience in scripting or programming with Perl, VB, Python, Java, or Unix Shell
- Minimum ten years experience with Windows Server and Linux operating systems
- Minimum ten years experience customizing Enterprise Monitoring technologies in secure environments

Position Overview
- Position: IT Health Monitoring Analyst
- Location: Ottawa, ON, Canada (Hybrid) OR 100% Remote
- Duration: August 21st to December 30th
- Pay Rate: CAD 90/hr CAD 120/hr CAD (Depending upon experience)
- Note: All roles need Security clearances.
Role 1 Senior IT Health Monitoring Analyst Requirements
- University undergraduate degree or diploma or Ten (10) years of progressive experience in IT.
