Role Description
The Senior IT Director oversees the planning, execution, and monitoring of information technology initiatives across the organization.
The role directs IT operations, supervises infrastructure and systems performance, and ensures secure and reliable network services.
The position collaborates with leadership to align IT strategy with business objectives, manages vendors, and optimizes technology investments.
The role establishes policies and procedures, leads risk assessments, and guides technology change, incident response, and continuous improvement.
Work Arrangement
- This is a part-time, hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi.
- Some responsibilities may be performed from home.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in IT management and information technology, including oversight of complex technical environments and cross-functional teams.
- Strong background in IT operations, including infrastructure management, system administration, and service delivery.
- Proficiency in network security, including security controls, threat monitoring, and compliance with relevant standards.
- Proven capability in IT strategy, technology roadmapping, budgeting, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Experience in IT leadership, including mentoring staff, managing vendors, and driving organizational change.
- Understanding of cloud services, enterprise applications, and data governance best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- An advanced degree or relevant certifications such as CISSP, ITIL, or PMP is preferred.
