The **Senior Investment Banking Deal Manager** will lead the end‑to‑end execution of complex capital markets and advisory transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), equity and debt capital markets (ECM/DCM), privatizations, and project‑related financings.
You will act as the core deal‑execution lead for senior clients and internal stakeholders, managing the deal team, structuring, documentation, and process to ensure successful closings.
Deal Execution & Management
- Lead the structuring and execution of M&A, IPOs, private placements, bond issuances, and other capital‑raising or advisory mandates.
- Manage the full deal lifecycle from initial mandate and information memoranda through to closing, including due diligence, pricing, negotiation, and documentation.
- Coordinate with legal, tax, regulatory, and internal compliance teams to ensure timely and compliant execution.
Financial & Commercial Analysis
- Oversee financial modeling, valuation, scenario analysis, and deal structuring (e.g., LBO, MBO, JVs, carve‑outs, privatization structures).
- Prepare and review pitch books, teaser documents, information memoranda, and investment memoranda for clients and investors.
- Translate complex financial and transactional details into clear, actionable insights for senior management and board‑level audiences.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a key point of contact for senior clients (C‑suite, board, government entities, SWF‑linked owners) throughout the deal process.
- Present deal strategies, financial outcomes, and execution plans to senior stakeholders and investors, including institutional and private‑equity‑style buyers.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with corporations, financial sponsors, and capital‑markets players in the GCC/Middle East region.
Team & Process Leadership
- Lead and mentor junior investment bankers, analysts, and associates on deal execution, modeling, and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to internal deal‑governance, risk‑management, and reporting standards.
- Standardize deal‑management processes and templates to improve efficiency and quality across mandates.
Thought Leadership & Origination Support
- Contribute to market intelligence, sector analysis, and deal‑thematic pitches to support senior bankers’ origination efforts.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and client forums to deepen the franchise’s profile in the region.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related quantitative field; MBA or CFA/FRM strongly preferred.
Professional Background
- 8–12+ years of experience in **investment banking, corporate finance, or M&A advisory**, with a strong track record in **deal execution** (M&A, ECM, DCM, or project‑related finance).
- Demonstrated experience leading or co‑leading live transactions from mandate to close, preferably in the **GCC/Middle East** or emerging‑markets context.
- Experience working with listed entities, government‑linked companies, or private‑equity‑backed platforms is a strong plus.
Skills & Competencies
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills (DCF, LBO, comparable companies, precedent transactions).
- Strong understanding of capital‑markets mechanics, regulatory frameworks, and transaction documentation (SPA, subscription agreements, bond terms, etc.).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple high‑pressure deals simultaneously and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Pay: QAR200.00 - QAR400.00 per hour
