Job Overview
The role develops instrumentation layouts, P&IDs, control panel designs, and related engineering documentation.
The position supports multidisciplinary engineering projects and requires 5–7 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute electrical and instrumentation design work as part of a multidisciplinary project team.
- Conduct site surveys, site visits, and data-gathering activities when required.
- Prepare P&IDs, block diagrams, schematics, layouts, termination diagrams, loop diagrams, and hook-up drawings.
- Prepare cable, load, MCT, and cable block schedules, plus installation and shop drawings.
- Develop 2D and 3D electrical, instrumentation, and telecom drawings.
- Prepare E&I equipment layouts, general arrangements, working drawings, cable tray layouts, and cable routing layouts.
- Use AutoCAD and REVIT to prepare detailed engineering drawings.
- Review and revise drawings based on technical requirements, applicable standards, and review comments.
- Provide technical support to site teams and prepare red-line mark-ups and as-built documents.
- Perform interdisciplinary drawing checks and review vendor drawings.
- Coordinate with Lead E&I Engineers and other disciplines to resolve interfaces and technical issues.
- Promote safe working practices and maintain a strong safety culture.
