Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer

Developing preliminary scope definitions, budgets, and staffing plans,

Field review and evaluation of existing equipment, control systems (hardware and software) and control panels,

Preparing studies, conceptual reports, and technical memorandums,

Conducting I&C engineering and analyses related to various water, wastewater, and industrial waste treatment facilities,

Supporting multi-disciplinary teams with engineering design projects and studies,

Developing construction documents (drawings, specifications, and schedules). Drawings for construction include: Database driven Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's), Detailed network communication architecture diagrams, Control panel details, CCTV and Access Control System drawings, Point-to-Point Wiring Diagrams, and Instrument installation details.

Development of technical specifications, instrument datasheets, and detailed control strategies / narratives, and

Senior review and evaluation of Electrical schematic diagrams and plans. Review and evaluation of mechanical specifications with controlscontent. Review and evaluation of process flow diagrams and design criteria; and Coordination of I&C deliverables with the process, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.

Review of Contractor and Supplier submittals, and

Assisting marketing team with project pursuit strategies,

Presentation material development,

Presentation participation, and

Serving as I&C discipline subject matter expert.

Working in a manner to ensure your personal safety and that of fellow employees by following company health and safety guidelines and policies.

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering is required; 15 years of experience in instrumentation and controls.

Possess Professional Engineering registration (P.Eng.) or the ability to obtain within 18 months of hire date is required.
