Role overview
Peoplebank is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer or Infrastructure Architect for a collaborative technology team reporting to the Head of Infrastructure.
The role combines hands-on technical delivery with infrastructure solution design and architecture practice maturity.
The position is not a pure architecture role and requires ownership through implementation and delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Own infrastructure solutions from requirements and design through delivery.
- Lead hands-on technical implementation of infrastructure projects.
- Scope solutions with project managers and business stakeholders.
- Develop technical designs, architecture documentation, and implementation plans.
- Provide technical leadership while collaborating with other technical teams.
- Work across Microsoft infrastructure, Azure or hybrid environments, and virtualisation.
- Improve infrastructure performance, resilience, security, and delivery practices.
About you
- At least 8 years of infrastructure or systems engineering experience.
- Strong Microsoft and Windows Server expertise.
