Responsibilities

Administer and maintain Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for software deployment, patch management, and endpoint configuration.
Manage enterprise identity platforms including Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), configure Conditional Access policies and MFA, implement SSO, and enforce least privilege access control.
Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Linux infrastructure; manage system patching using Ivanti Patch Management and Microsoft WSUS.
Monitor cybersecurity events using Microsoft Sentinel SIEM, investigate and respond to security alerts and incidents.
Manage Microsoft Defender security platform, Symantec Endpoint Protection, and EDR platforms; implement malware protection and endpoint threat remediation.
Implement and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, protect sensitive data, and investigate potential data leakage incidents.
Monitor and manage ExtraHop Network Detection & Response (NDR) platform, analyze network traffic, and investigate network security incidents.
Manage enterprise network infrastructure including routing, switching, and connectivity; configure Cisco and Huawei network devices.
Administer Fortinet Security Infrastructure including NGFW, WAF, and ADC; implement firewall policies, network segmentation, and threat protection.
Create IT Purchase Requests for hardware, software, and services; coordinate with vendors for procurement and technical support.
Ensure alignment with NESA Information Assurance Standards, DGE Digital Governance Framework, and ISO/IEC 27001; support audits and risk assessments.
Maintain Business Continuity Plans and Disaster Recovery procedures; conduct periodic DR testing exercises.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Network Engineering
Minimum 6 8 years experience in IT Infrastructure Operations, Cybersecurity Operations, or Enterprise Systems Administration
Preferred Microsoft Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, Identity & Access Administrator, Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Security Operations Analyst

Role Purpose

The Senior Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Engineer is responsible for designing, managing, and securing the organization’s enterprise IT infrastructure and cybersecurity operations in alignment with Abu Dhabi Government digital governance frameworks.
The role ensures compliance with DGE digital infrastructure and cybersecurity policies, NESA Information Assurance Standards, and ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System.
