About the Role
TraffiConsult is hiring a Senior Hydrologist/Water Resources Engineer with 10+ years of experience. The role involves hydrological and hydraulic assessments, flood modelling, stormwater and drainage design, and preparation of technical reports.

Responsibilities
- Conduct hydrological and hydraulic assessments
- Perform rainfall runoff modelling and flood modelling (HEC HMS, HEC RAS)
- Conduct flood risk assessment and flood inundation mapping
- Perform water balance and water resources studies
- Design stormwater and drainage systems
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents
- Coordinate with stakeholders and regulatory authorities
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience
- BSc in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or related field
- Chartered Engineer preferred
- Experience in flood modelling and hydraulic simulations
- Experience in Wadi and stormwater management projects
- Experience in water resources planning and flood risk mitigation
- Experience in design build infrastructure projects in the GCC is an advantage
- Proficiency in HEC HMS, HEC RAS, ArcGIS/QGIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office
