The position covers the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through development, performance management, engagement, and offboarding.
HR Function and Policies
- Manage the full HR function and act as the main point of contact for HR-related matters across the organization.
- Develop, implement, and improve HR policies, procedures, and processes in line with business objectives and applicable employment legislation.
- Manage HR projects and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and the employee experience.
Employee Lifecycle and Recruitment
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, probation, performance management, development, promotions, employee relations, and offboarding.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, including job descriptions, sourcing, interviews, offers, and onboarding coordination.
- Partner with management and department heads on workforce requirements, organizational needs, and future talent plans.
Employee Relations and Performance
- Advise managers and employees on HR policies, employee relations, performance issues, disciplinary matters, grievances, and workplace concerns.
- Manage performance processes including goal setting, performance reviews, feedback, and development plans.
- Handle sensitive and confidential employee matters with professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
Rewards, Records, and Compliance
- Support salary reviews, promotions, bonuses, benefits, and benchmarking as part of compensation and benefits processes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation in compliance with GDPR and applicable employment legislation.
- Coordinate employee benefits, insurance, and other HR-related external providers where applicable.
- Stay current with employment legislation, HR best practices, and market trends relevant to FinTech.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Five to seven years of progressive HR experience, including an HR Manager or similar senior HR position.
- Experience working in the Dubai market with strong knowledge of Dubai employment legislation and HR practices.
- Previous FinTech experience is a strong advantage.
HR and Professional Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, HR operations, and employee engagement.
- Experience partnering with senior management and department heads on HR strategy, workforce planning, and organizational development.
- Fluency in English and the relevant local language, written and verbal, is required.
- Strong knowledge of HRIS and other HR technology platforms is advantageous.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required.
