A Hairdresser is responsible for providing hair care services to clients, including cutting, styling, coloring, and treating hair while ensuring excellent customer service and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their hairstyle preferences and needs
- Cut, trim, wash, blow-dry, and style hair
- Apply hair coloring, highlights, straightening, rebonding, or other chemical treatments
- Recommend suitable hairstyles and hair care products
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of salon tools and workstations
- Manage appointments and assist with customer service
- Stay updated with current hair trends and techniques
- Ensure client satisfaction and build good customer relationships
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hairdresser or Hair Stylist
- Knowledge of hair cutting, coloring, and styling techniques
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Certification or beauty salon training is an advantage
