Role Overview
Senior GUI Developer role within Citi Equities Technology.
Works with front office, product development, and engineering teams to improve efficiency, reduce operational risk, and support business growth.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Manage application state using Redux and related middleware.
- Write unit tests using Vitest to maintain high test coverage.
- Build reusable UI components for multiple feature applications.
- Contribute to front-end architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Perform code reviews and improve software quality, maintainability, and testability.
- Plan and implement assigned work independently.
- Collaborate with teams and adapt to changing work environments.
Required Technical Skills
- 6-10 years of experience with React, Redux, WebSockets, and modern web technologies.
- Hands-on HTML5, CSS3, SASS or CSS-in-JS, core JavaScript, and TypeScript experience.
- Hands-on React and React hooks experience.
- Unit testing experience with Jest and React Testing Library.
- Experience with Redux, Recoil, or React Context for state management.
- Experience with RxJS, WebSockets, or Web Workers.
