About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Golang Engineer to lead backend development of a real-time communication platform. You will design scalable services for live streaming, WebRTC conferencing, and media servers, requiring deep expertise in Golang, WebRTC, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high performance backend services using Golang
- Build scalable WebRTC signaling servers
- Develop and optimize live streaming infrastructure
- Implement low latency audio and video communication
- Integrate media servers such as LiveKit, Janus, Mediasoup, Kurento, or similar
- Develop RTMP, SRT, HLS, DASH, and WebRTC streaming workflows
- Optimize media routing, bandwidth adaptation, and congestion control
- Implement recording, playback, and cloud storage pipelines
- Design scalable microservices architecture
- Develop REST APIs and gRPC services
- Implement WebSocket based real time communication
- Optimize system performance for high concurrency
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional Golang development
- Hands on experience with WebRTC, ICE, STUN, TURN, SDP, RTP, RTCP, SRTP, Simulcast, SVC
- Experience with streaming technologies (RTMP, HLS, MPEG DASH, SRT, LL HLS, CMAF)
- Experience with media servers (LiveKit, Janus, Mediasoup, Pion WebRTC, Kurento, Jitsi, Ant Media Server, Wowza, GStreamer, FFmpeg)
- Experience with backend development (REST APIs, gRPC, WebSockets, authentication, caching)
- Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch)
- Experience with cloud & infrastructure (AWS, DigitalOcean, Azure or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Nginx, Load Balancers, CDN, Object Storage)
- Experience with DevOps (CI/CD, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK Stack)
- Experience with messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, NATS, Redis Streams)
- Experience building systems supporting thousands of concurrent users with ultra low latency
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

- Hands on experience with WebRTC, ICE, STUN, TURN, SDP, RTP, RTCP, SRTP, Simulcast, SVC, Screen Sharing, Adaptive Bitrate Streaming, Network Optimization, NAT Traversal.
- Experience with streaming technologies: RTMP, HLS, MPEG DASH, SRT, LL HLS, CMAF.
- Experience with media servers: LiveKit, Janus Gateway, Mediasoup, Pion WebRTC, Kurento, Jitsi, Ant Media Server, Wowza, GStreamer, FFmpeg.
- Experience with backend development: REST APIs, gRPC, GraphQL (preferred), WebSockets, Authentication & Authorization, JWT, OAuth2, RBAC, Rate Limiting, Caching.
- Experience with databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch (preferred).
- Experience with cloud & infrastructure: AWS, DigitalOcean, Azure or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Nginx, Load Balancers, CDN Integration, Object Storage (S3 Compatible).
- Experience with DevOps: CI/CD, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK Stack.
- Experience with messaging: RabbitMQ, Kafka, NATS, Redis Streams.
- Experience building systems that support thousands of concurrent users, ultra low latency streaming, horizontal scaling, high availability, auto scaling, failover architecture, distributed systems, load balancing, media optimization, bandwidth optimization.
