Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Golang Developer for a full-time on-site role in Abu Dhabi.
In this role, you will develop, optimize, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems using Golang.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test software solutions, and ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment pipelines.
Additionally, you will contribute to architectural decisions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior team members.
This role requires a strong ability to solve complex technical problems and deliver robust applications.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Golang development, including concurrency patterns, API creation, and RESTful services.
- Experience with microservices architecture, containerization tools like Docker, and orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes.
- In-depth knowledge of database systems, both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of software design principles, system architecture, and best practices in clean coding.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor junior developers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with performance optimization, debugging, and application monitoring tools is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
