About the Role
Twelve Data is hiring a Senior Go Developer to build and scale high-throughput, low-latency data infrastructure and public APIs for financial market data. You will own end-to-end design, implementation, and reliability of distributed systems, with a path to technical leadership.

The Role
- We're hiring a Senior Go Developer to help build and scale the systems behind our market data platform.
- You'll work on high throughput, low latency data infrastructure and public APIs.
- This role offers a path from strong individual contributor to technical leader as the team scales.
What you'll do
- Design and build high scale, low latency data infrastructure that ingests and serves real time market data
- Develop and evolve our public REST and WebSocket APIs used by developers around the world
- Work across distributed systems — concurrency, reliability, and performance tuning at the core
- Take ownership of services end to end: architecture, implementation, deployment, and reliability
- Set the technical bar through code review, mentorship, and pragmatic engineering decisions
- Help shape how we build as the team grows — and grow into leading it
What we're looking for
- Strong, production grade experience with Go in high scale backend systems
- Deep understanding of concurrency, distributed systems, and performance optimization
- Track record of building and operating reliable, high throughput services
- A genuine sense of ownership — you take problems and drive them to done without being told how
- High agency and initiative: you spot what needs doing and do it
- Interest in growing into a technical leadership role and mentoring others
- Comfort working in fintech / market data (or eagerness to go deep on it)
Nice to have
- Experience with real time streaming, time series data, or financial markets
- Familiarity with databases and caching at scale, containerization, and cloud infrastructure
- Open source contributions or side projects that show your craft
