Role Overview
Oversee data center operations across multiple data centers within a distributed cloud environment.
Integrate team performance, operations metrics, and capacity analysis into broader business-line strategy.
Operations Leadership
- Direct multiple teams supporting escalated technical issues, crisis management, and root cause analysis.
- Standardize processes and maintain an accurate knowledge base.
- Support new region builds and expansion activities.
- Act as a senior liaison with project and engineering teams to manage timelines and capacity.
- Ensure adherence to world-class operational standards.
Infrastructure and Maintenance
- Advise teams responsible for installations, repairs, inventory, and logistics.
- Enforce standards for component replacements and upgrades.
- Recommend significant purchases.
- Implement advanced maintenance strategies to optimize data center efficiency and stability.
Requirements
- Oversee data center operations across multiple facilities and integrate team performance, operations metrics, and capacity analysis into business strategy.
- Direct multiple teams supporting escalated technical issues, crisis management, and root cause analysis.
- Act as a senior liaison with project and engineering teams during new region builds and expansion activities.
- Manage timelines, capacity, operational standards, installations, repairs, inventory, and logistics activities.
