Your Opportunity
Stantec is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Technician to join our team in the Markham, ON office.
Your Key Responsibilities
In this role you will have the opportunity to work with engineers and other technicians performing general duties consisting of both field and laboratory work including the following:
- Working on a variety of small to large projects spanning from transportation, power, mining, residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
- Geotechnical field testing that may require concrete testing, field compaction testing, and geotechnical laboratory testing.
- Complete geotechnical and materials testing field inspections including, but not limited to, footing inspections, slope inspections, reinforcing steel inspections, subgrade inspections, slope analysis, and soil classifications.
- Promoting a strong health and safety culture and actively participating in Stantec’s Health, Safety, Security and Environment Program.
- Other general field and office-related duties.
