The Alberta Electric System Operator plans and operates Alberta’s interconnected power system and facilitates open grid access and the competitive wholesale electricity market.
Role overview
The Senior Functional Analyst supports implementation and ongoing operation of the Enspire application suite within the multi-year Restructured Energy Market program.
Enspire supports market settlement, commercial model management, offer control, outage submission, price validation, and market power mitigation.
The role leads functional analysis and partners with business stakeholders, product teams, vendors, and technical resources on mission-critical market systems.
Work model
- This is a full-time opportunity in a hybrid work environment, with the team in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
- Mondays and Fridays are flexible regarding where employees work.
What you will do
- Lead workshops, gather and validate requirements, define functionality scope, and translate business needs into actionable functional requirements.
