Role overview
Experian is seeking a full-stack engineer for a TDD-first, product-driven engineering environment.
The role works across frontend and backend systems and reports into the Engineering Director.
The engineer will pair with a collaborative team to ship high-quality product features.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Head of Engineering to meet clear milestones.
- Communicate technical trade-offs to other business areas.
- Influence system architecture and feature design with the development team.
- Design, test, and deploy new features.
- Manage features end-to-end with product and design teams.
- Build and deploy APIs for interconnected services.
- Improve frontend design and use AI-assisted development tools.
- Enhance service availability, system security, and reliability.
Technology stack
- Infrastructure includes AWS and Terraform.
- Frontend technologies include Vercel, Next.js, React, Redux, and TestCafe or similar tools.
- Testing tools include Cypress and Playwright.
- Backend technologies include TypeScript, Vitest, TypeORM, Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, pytest, and Docker Compose.
