Role Overview
Senior Software Developers collaborate across disciplines to design software solutions that create meaningful change for clients.
The role combines deep technical problem-solving, software delivery, team health assessment, code-quality ownership, and mentoring.
Job Responsibilities
- Adopt clean-code practices including test-driven development, pair programming, and design patterns.
- Advocate for continuous delivery to deliver high-quality software and customer value early.
- Build innovative customer experiences in collaborative, value-driven teams.
- Create large-scale distributed systems from microservices.
- Collaborate on features, design concepts, and interactive prototypes while embedding engineering and UX best practices.
- Apply current technology thinking to solve client problems.
- Use DevSecOps tools and practices to build and deploy software and shift security left.
- Participate in the full software consulting and delivery lifecycle from ideation to deployment.
- Mentor less-experienced peers through technical knowledge and leadership.
Technical Skills
- Strong full-stack development skills, particularly with C#/.NET and React.js.
- Ability to write high-quality, well-tested object-oriented code.
- Comfort with Agile methodologies, including Extreme Programming, Scrum, and/or Kanban.
- Awareness of test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery approaches or tools.
- Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or Docker is a bonus.
Professional Skills
- Ability to influence others while advocating for technical excellence and remaining open to change.
- Willingness to share expertise through speaking engagements, open-source contributions, blogs, and similar activities.
- Resilience in ambiguous situations and ability to approach challenges from multiple perspectives.
