Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web and mobile applications.
- Build high-performance backend services, APIs, and microservices.
- Develop with MERN or MEAN stack technologies.
- Optimize databases, APIs, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.
- Build systems supporting high traffic and large user populations.
- Contribute to architecture, scalability, security, and performance decisions.
- Implement CI/CD, automated testing, DevOps, and engineering best practices.
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities into products where applicable.
- Collaborate with product, UI/UX, and engineering teams.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong professional experience as a Full Stack Developer or Software Engineer.
- Strong expertise in the MERN or MEAN stack.
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, React or React Native, and Node.js.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, SQL or NoSQL databases, cloud platforms, Git, and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of system architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience developing highly scalable applications.
- Strong understanding of application security, performance optimization, and API design.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with large-scale consumer applications is highly desirable.
- AI/ML, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or mobile development experience is advantageous.
- Experience at a major or comparable global technology company is strongly encouraged.
- Experience building or scaling high-traffic mobile video, social, content, or streaming platforms is particularly relevant.
Location and Work Model
- The role is based in Dubai, UAE.
- The work model is on-site.
- Candidates based in Dubai or another GCC country are encouraged to apply.
- UAE employment visa sponsorship may be available for eligible international candidates.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay is AED 10,000–20,000 per month.
