The Role
Design, build, and deploy scalable, high-quality features for GoodTime’s hiring intelligence platform.
Use JavaScript or TypeScript and React with a focus on customer-centric architecture and test-driven development.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and leadership teams to advance the technical roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement new features and maintain existing features.
- Debug customer-reported bugs.
- Partner with Product and Design to plan feature development.
- Drive performance and stability improvements across GoodTime Hire.
- Demo new features to internal stakeholders at company-wide meetings.
- Own projects from initial concept through release.
- Learn new languages, systems, and models as the market changes.
Required Background
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- At least 3 years of JavaScript or TypeScript experience.
- At least 3 years of React experience.
- Advanced web development knowledge and deep understanding of the JavaScript ecosystem.
- Experience with debugging tools such as Datadog.
- Experience with object-oriented design and development and test-driven development.
- Experience with relational databases and REST communication.
