Senior Full Stack Developer (CRM), TD Securities

Role Overview

Application Development

• Design, develop, and support enterprise CRM applications using Python, Java, React, and SQL.
• Build full-stack solutions and APIs that integrate CRM platforms with internal systems, data platforms, and third-party applications.
• Lead CRM architecture modernization to improve scalability, maintainability, performance, and technical debt.
• Design and optimize databases and data models for CRM operations, analytics, reporting, and client intelligence.

Data and AI

• Develop AI-enabled capabilities including intelligent search, conversational interfaces, workflow automation, and knowledge retrieval solutions.
• Integrate strategic CRM datasets into centralized enterprise data platforms with trusted and governed access.
• Develop data services and pipelines using Databricks, Spark, and cloud technologies for operational and analytical workloads.

Collaboration and Operations

• Gather requirements and prioritize initiatives with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams.
• Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, code reviews, engineering standards, and mentorship.
• Support application stability, troubleshooting, performance tuning, incident resolution, and continuous improvement.

Required Experience

• 7+ years of software development experience building and supporting enterprise applications.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python, Java, React, and SQL with production-grade delivery experience.
• Experience with scalable full-stack applications, APIs, microservices, Spring Boot, and RESTful services.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL optimization, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Experience integrating systems through APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of Azure, cloud-native architectures, CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, source control, and DevOps processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with CRM platforms such as Prism, Salesforce, or similar enterprise CRM solutions is preferred.
• Experience delivering applications using LLMs, Generative AI, and intelligent workflow automation is preferred.
• Experience with Databricks, Spark or PySpark, Snowflake, or equivalent enterprise data platforms is preferred.
• Experience in Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Research, or other Financial Services domains is preferred.
• Experience leading technical design discussions, mentoring developers, or providing technical leadership is preferred.

Work Location

• The listed work location is Toronto, Ontario, Canada. No remote, hybrid, or onsite policy is specified.

Compensation

• Base pay is listed at $125,000–$156,000 CAD annually.
• The role is eligible for discretionary variable compensation based on business and individual performance.
