Role Overview
Senior full-stack performance and optimization role owning performance, scalability, code quality, and technical optimization of the WonnPay production application.
The engineer will investigate bottlenecks across the technology stack and deliver measurable improvements.
Application Performance
- Analyze application performance and responsiveness across mobile, frontend, backend, APIs, databases, networking, and infrastructure.
- Reduce startup, screen loading, API response, and transaction processing latency.
- Optimize login, KYC, wallet, deposits, withdrawals, card management, and transaction journeys.
- Establish performance benchmarks and continuously measure improvements.
Frontend and Mobile
- Optimize the React Native and Expo application, including rendering, navigation, state management, memory use, and network requests.
- Remove unnecessary API calls, duplicate requests, inefficient components, and unnecessary re-renders.
- Implement caching, lazy loading, pagination, and optimized data-fetching strategies.
- Improve application stability, crash rates, and user experience.
