Job Description

Develop and deploy enhancements and new applications used in local, networked, cloud-based, and internet-related environments.

Apply programming, tools, delivery-model, and methodology expertise to deliver high-quality software products and solutions.

Collaborate with project teams, business analysts, end users, and other stakeholders throughout the development process.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze system requirements and translate them into software programming specifications.
  • Develop, code, integrate, test, and debug software applications using current programming languages.
  • Create software installation and maintenance documentation and procedures.
  • Collaborate with users, developers, and project managers to support timely delivery of products and solutions.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and programming languages.

Workplace

  • The position is not hybrid or remote and is located at the Cleveland Headquarters office.
  • Travel is expected to be approximately 5%.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or at least 7 years of application development or application engineering experience.
  • At least 4 years of software development experience, specifically in application development engineering.
  • Experience in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or Ruby.
  • Familiarity with software development tools such as Git or Jenkins.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing and supporting enterprise applications using Java JEE or Jakarta EE.
  • Experience deploying and troubleshooting applications on Oracle WebLogic or JBoss/WildFly.
  • Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Strong Oracle SQL skills, including query development, performance tuning, and database design.
  • Working knowledge of PL/SQL, including stored procedures, packages, and functions.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and processes for automated build, deployment, and release management.
  • Understanding of enterprise application architecture, software development best practices, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
