Details of the role and how it fits into the team
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Full-stack AI Engineer (f/m/x) with a strong focus on developing intelligent, agentic AI solutions. This role plays a key part in driving the design, development, and deployment of autonomous AI agents that perform complex tasks, integrate seamlessly with enterprise systems, and continuously evolve based on operational feedback.
As an integral member of an agile and collaborative TDI team, you will take ownership of AI-driven applications and contribute to shaping Deutsche Bank’s transformation through advanced Agentic AI and automation. You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to design scalable solutions, actively contribute to architecture and design decisions, and ensure the compliant and responsible adoption of AI use cases across the organization.
Your key responsibilities
Design, development, and operation of end-to-end full-stack AI solutions, including database architectures, Python-based microservices, and modern web frontends, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance in production environments.
Ownership and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines, enabling efficient, reliable, and automated development, testing, and deployment processes for AI and ML applications.
Driving the development, fine-tuning, and deployment of AI models, ensuring robustness, performance, and scalability across diverse enterprise environments.
Leading the design and implementation of agentic AI use cases, including multi-agent workflows and the development of custom tools and integrations.
Responsibility for integrating AI solutions into enterprise ecosystems, including the configuration of MCP servers, development of Python-based tools, ETL pipelines, and microservices, and orchestration of AI workloads on OpenShift and Google Kubernetes Engine.
Close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, proactive identification of opportunities to enhance AI capabilities, and advisory on best practices for scalable AI solutions.
Your skills and experiences
Several years of relevant professional experience in DevOps, AI engineering, Python development, data analytics, or related AI-driven environments.
Strong experience in designing and deploying enterprise-grade AI solutions, including experience with large language models, agent architectures, and modern AI development frameworks.
Proven expertise in Python, Google ADK, GCP, vector databases, DevOps tooling, GitHub, Terraform, and the implementation of scalable microservice architectures.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across business and technology teams.
High level of ownership, proactivity, and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work independently and drive complex topics forward.
Strong understanding of responsible AI principles and ethical considerations in enterprise environments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; German is an advantage.
