Greenstone Equity Partners is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to own the frontend of its internal CRM and client-facing investor portal.
The role is a senior individual-contributor position in a small technology team with direct ownership of delivered systems.
The role is frontend-led, with backend contribution in PHP and Laravel when required.
What You Will Do
- Own the architecture, delivery, and continuous improvement of the internal CRM and investor portal.
- Partner with coverage, product, compliance, and leadership stakeholders from discovery through release.
- Build scalable, well-typed React applications with reusable components and disciplined state and data-fetching patterns.
- Develop and maintain a Material UI component system, including MUI X Data Grid Pro for data-dense tables.
- Work with Recharts, Tiptap, document and PDF viewing, and accessible responsive behavior across devices.
- Improve page and bundle performance and frontend observability through Sentry.
- Contribute to PHP and Laravel backend work, integrations, and internal tooling when required.
Technology Environment
- The applications use modern React-based frontend architectures.
- The technology environment includes React, TypeScript, Vite, Next.js, Material UI, Redux, TanStack Query, and React Router.
- The role includes work with MUI X Data Grid Pro, Recharts, Tiptap, Sentry, PHP, and Laravel.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience owning frontend architecture, delivery, and continuous improvement for web applications.
- Strong hands-on experience building scalable, well-typed React applications with TypeScript.
- Ability to work across React-based environments including React, TypeScript, Vite, Next.js, and Material UI.
- Experience with disciplined state and data-fetching patterns using Redux, TanStack Query, and React Router.
- Ability to make sound technical choices and build reusable component systems.
- Ability to contribute to backend work in PHP and Laravel when required.
- Ability to translate complex investment and relationship workflows into clear, responsive, and usable experiences.
